Based on the footage, a murder case was registered by Vyalikaval police against the person in question in the video.

A 77-year-old was beaten to death by a bunch of bikers, whom he had scholded for riding recklessly near Palace Guttahalli area of Bengaluru. The elderly man was on his way to get some medicines when he was attacked by the accused.

According to a Times of India report, The deceased, Krishnappa, was a resident of Muneshwara Block.

After the death of the 77-year-old, cops had at first registered a road accident case, where they assumed that the old man had fallen off the scooter and died. However, the truth unfolded when Krishnappa’s son Satish Kumar had a hunch that something else must have happened with his father. Later, he examined CCTV footage of his house and found that a person brutally beating up his father after an argument with him.

Based on the footage, a murder case was registered by Vyalikaval police against the person in question in the video.

Cops later tracked and arrested the accused, Sarfaraz Khan (35) from the locality. Khan is a welder-cum-mechanic and a former resident of the area. According to cops, Khan used to reside in the victim’s neighbourhood but had relocated. He often visited the place to catch up with his old friends.
